My Thoughts: This appears to be the fruit from the work Google has put into building a discovery service on top of their API infrastructure. Google has put a lot of effort into pulling together their API platform on the access, billing, legal and discovery front over the last year. Being able to use their APIs within the Eclipse IDE is definitely one of the visions of an API discovery service.
