Techstars is opening in London, the first international branch of its accelerator program thanks to a partnership with Springboard. Nike+ Adds API Developer Portal and Announces Accelerator Program

Excerpt: Nike has launched the Nike+ API developer portal. The portal gives developers access to data captured by Nike+ FuelBand and Nike+ Running through an API. The goal of the developer portal and corresponding APIs consists of a health driven, forward thinking aim:
The portal launch coincides with the announcement of the Nike+ Accelerator Program. Nike and TechStars will select 10 teams to develop applications based on the Nike+ platform for a three month period. Applications to participate must be complete by Feb. 3, 2013.
