TechStars Goes International with Springboard, Submissions Open in March

Techstars is opening in London, the first international branch of its accelerator program thanks to a partnership with Springboard. The TechStars London program is open to any company, regardless of where they’re based. Submissions open in March so keep an eye on the application page here. Nike+ Adds API Developer Portal and Announces Accelerator Program

Excerpt: Nike has launched the Nike+ API developer portal. The portal gives developers access to data captured by Nike+ FuelBand and Nike+ Running through an API. The goal of the developer portal and corresponding APIs consists of a health driven, forward thinking aim: The portal launch coincides with the announcement of the Nike+ Accelerator Program. Nike and TechStars will select 10 teams to develop applications based on the Nike+ platform for a three month period. Applications to participate must be complete by Feb. 3, 2013.
